Artichoke News

The Artichoke has reopened after a short late Spring vacation and returns with vigour.  The Summer sees the first of the English fruits and berries coming through and English Asparagus will be at its best, as well as Globe Artichokes arriving into the kitchen - so we are truly in season!  Chef, Laurie Gear's recipe for a Summer Salad with Peas, Broad beans, Asparagus and Pea Mousse can be found in the June Edition of the Amersham Life Series magazines.

We are delighted to welcome back Andrew Schofield as our Restaurant Manager/Sommelier who has trained at the prestigious Wine and Spirit Educational Trust in London and joins us from Great Fosters.  We are currently working on our wine event diary and he will be delighted to announce a gastronomic wine tasting dinner very shortly.

The Artichoke is also proud to be associated with Stratstone Aston Martin, Amersham, with an inclusion in their latest brochure.
